Petaling Jaya: If you are interested in contributing to world peace and victims of atrocities in Palestine, here’s one way of doing it.

Buy a limited edition T-shirt made by The Star bearing the slogan “Say No to War” to contribute towards the Palestine Relief Fund. The T-shirts are available at Menara Star here from today and at all its bureau offices beginning tomorrow.

The T-shirts come in two colours – black and white – and will be sold at RM15 each for round-neck and RM20 for collared-ones.

The public can either purchase them at The Star offices during office hours or through mail order. Those who want to buy them through mail order can do so through forms which will be published in the newspaper. The T-shirt sale is in support of the anti-war campaign by People’s Alliance for Peace Malaysia (Peace Malaysia).

A courier company, GD Express has supported the campaign by providing a complimentary service for the mail order. The company has also agreed to purchase 200 collared T-shirts. The Star deputy group chief editor Wong Sulong yesterday handed over the T-shirts to GD Express managing director Teong Teck Lean.

“We are very proud to support the campaign. This is a fantastic way of telling the world and all Malaysians to champion the cause for peace,” Teong said.
